DESCRIPTION: Zovirax is an antiviral agent mainly used for the treatment of herpes infection. Eye application may cause stinging, superficial punctuate keratopathy, blepharitis or conjunctivitis. DRUG INTERACTION: Zovirax is contraindicated with cidofovir because, when administering with cidofovir it will increases the renal impairment. So the co administration with tizanidine is also contraindicated. Probenecid decreases urinary excretion and increases half life.

CONTRA INDICATION: Zovirax is contraindicated in the patients with hypersensitivity with acyclovir.
